DEMAND PLANNER at procter & gamble

Brenda Tan

Hey there! I’m Brenda, a B. Eng (Hons) graduate from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I am currently a Demand Planning Manager in the Product Supply function of Procter & Gamble.

The contents of this site are a culmination of my journey through the academic and corporate fields, and a product of the countless people who dared place their faith in me. It is also the representation of me — engineer-slash-science person by training, and lover of the arts. I hope you find joy, as I do, in having a look around.

Should you be interested to speak more with me, be it about photography, my work in supply chain, or experiences in research, feel free to reach out via the contact form at the bottom of this page.

Experience

Aug 2021 - Present

Demand Planning Manager

Product Supply function, Procter & Gamble, Singapore

I manage demand forecasting for Haircare, Skincare and Personal Cleansing Care brands across Thailand, Myanmar and Laos markets.

May 2020 - Jul 2020

Management Intern

Procter & Gamble, Singapore

As part of the Demand Planning team in the Product Supply function, my project served to streamline the process of demand forecast accuracy reporting for the APAC, Middle East and Africa (AMA) regions. This involved automating the calculations of demand forecast accuracies using BigData and KNIME Analytics, as well as visualising performance in Microsoft Power BI.

Jan 2020 - May 2020

Research Intern

Department of Chemical Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea

Eventually leading to a first-author publication in Langmuir, this research project examined the effects of varying solvent effects (ethanol content in water/ethanol mixtures) on protein conformational stability and adsorption behaviour.
Research supervisor: Assistant Professor Joshua Jackman
